Today is my first day in Washington. And we got up late at 8:15a.m. Then we washed quickly.

When we got to the restaurant, many people were in it and we had a very good breakfast: bread, fruit juice and instant noodles. They were great.

When I saw the Washington Monument, I think it is tall, big and it looked very beautiful. The colors of the upper and lower parts are different, which have something meaningful to the war. Washington Monument has a tall spire. It’s heard that it is the tallest building in Washington. When we got to Washington Monument, I found there were so many people there and took photos. It is Sacred and solemn in Washington, even in the United States. I also took many photos. Next to the Washington Monument, there is a big grassland. It’s said that it is a place for the president to stop his personal plane. All in all, it is a good place.

The next interesting place is the Lincoln Memorial. It was really an old building. We went into the building and saw a big statue of Lincoln. There were six big books made of the stones .There were a lot of words on the books and we took a lot of photos. We also saw something interesting in the store, but we had no time to take any of them.

After that, we went to a special place--House of Parliament. It was very big. About this old building, there was a long history. The building has many rooms .To go into the building, we had to go through the visitors’ center and finally arrived at a big hall. Then the guide would show us around the rooms. Surprisingly, in one of the rooms, there were eight paintings in it.

And there is a large library in the building, too. It's really old, but many of the things in the library were still new. People are talking and reading in the library. The library has different kinds of books about history, science ,math and so on. The library also had many books about China and Chinese, which made me surprised. I was really proud of my country. I also saw a big map of the United States of America. I learned that the US has fifty states. Some are big, but some are really small. I could find the cities where we will go.

We ate Mexican food for dinner, but we ate only a little, because its taste really does not match our taste, although it looks very beautiful and delicious. However, our teachers ate much. And then we got to the supermarket to buy some food like milk, bread and some instant noodles for lunch. We got to the hotel so early. Unluckily, its signal of Wifi is not good, so the network is intermittent. I think today is a great but busy day.

No.1

Goodbye to Los Angeles, we're in the east of the city. First, we came to Washington. We visited the White House and the Lincoln Memorial. And we went to the Capital, which has one of the largest libraries in the world.

The next day, we went to Philadelphia. There we saw a clock tower and many famous statues. After the visit, we went to a duty-free mall and I bought a lot of things.

On the third day, we came to New York. On the tallest building in the east of the United States, we overlooked New York. When we went to see the statue of liberty, there was a heavy rain. Instead of staying inside, we were all on the deck of the boat, enjoying the scenery in the rain. Then we went to Wall Street to watch the bull. I also went to Time Square to buy presents.

On the last day, we will go to Boston and then go back to China.

No.2

This is the place where we arrived today. In this tall building, we took the lift to the 102nd floor. At the beginning, we watched a video, which has a good visual effect. When the video was over, something that surprised me happened, and the screen went up automatically, showing the view of New York. How wonderfully we are overlooking New York on the tall building!

This is the tall building we mentioned in the previous paragraph. The exterior is made of glass and shines in the sunshine. I feel it has a little light pollution.

The statue depicts scenes of working people working in the park of New York. He is opening his work bag, ready to take out the papers and start to work.

This is the Statue of Liberty, on a small island in the sea, the island is dedicated to the goddess, and there’s nothing but trees on it. It looks definitely great on the sea!

This is a building in Harvard University, trees are everywhere outside, and the building is hidden in the wood. It's an old building in Harvard University, though it's been built for a long time, but this one is older.

This is the gate of Harvard University. You can see from the picture, no one came in and out of the front gate, and the gate was locked. Why? There is an unwritten rule, it is a kind of faith, and some do not believe. Then you can go from the front door. But the person who believes it is not eternal life does not walk through this gate, in the new school entrance. When students graduate from the university, they will walk through this gate.

This is a dormitory of Harvard University, where students should get up at six in the morning. But they slept late, and it was said that they had only seven hours to sleep, and sometimes maybe only six hours. But later, they were allowed to get up at 8: 00. Why is the sleep time getting longer. Because it’s heard that a student who graduated from the university got a job as a president in this university, and he then changed the rule. It may tell us that many students are not satisfied with long-time study.

It is related to China, and was shipped from China, which has dragons on it. Maybe everybody can tell it is from China at first glance. How happy it is to get across the Pacific Ocean and get to Harvard? We are so proud of being Chinese!

No.3

This is a bird's eye view of Houses of Parliament. From the top to the bottom, Houses of Parliament is big, tall and beautiful. The roof is so well-decorated. Inside Houses of Parliament, there are statues of Washington and some great figures, even though I don't know those people.

There are many houses and a lot of pictures. And watching the sea there made me feel very calm, and also made me feel very comfortable. While looking at the sea, I felt all the bad mood disappeared , only real joy.

This is what I saw in the stern when I was on the boat. There were constant waves of water, gradually turning white from the inside out. As you can see from the photo, the outermost layer is the most white.

It's the statue of liberty that we saw on the boat. The statue of liberty, which means something importnt to this country, but I don’t understand why a statue was put on an island?

Today we went to Harvard University, and went to MIT. I learned a lot about the two universities. Most intriguingly, at Harvard there was a statue that implied three lies. And the two universities are usually against each other. MIT students often play pranks on Harvard University. In the evening, we went to a food court, the food there was really delicious。

And I wanna say I love Boston!
